Call and Response is a frieze of iconic news imagery. The work explores the contrast between the slow process of embroidery and the constant news feed, which we are bombarded with every day. Not only is the speed contradicting, but so is the quaintness of the embroidery depicting a cruel world. How many pixels are enough to recognise the history?
